Northampton itself
Search behaviour in Northampton varies more than people expect. Someone in Duston or Upton on the western side sees different map results from someone in Weston Favell, Billing or Moulton to the east. The town centre, with the Market Square, Abington Street and the Cultural Quarter around Guildhall Road, has its own competitive local market for shops, food and professional services.
The business parks have their own patterns too. Brackmills, Moulton Park and the Swan Valley sites near the M1 are full of firms that sell to other businesses, often nationally. For them, the map pack matters less than strong service and sector pages.
